About Yan Ross
Keeping Us Safe is pleased to announce that Mr. Yan Ross has joined us by accepting the permanent position of Senior Advisor for our “Beyond Driving with Dignity” program.
In this capacity, Yan will be providing support from a business perspective. Yan has already begun working to develop new strategic business alliances, and to further enhance current partnerships.
As a graduate of Princeton University and Yale Law School, Yan jokingly describes himself as a “recovering attorney”. Yan is admitted to practice law in several jurisdictions, including the U. S. Supreme Court. Since 1982, Yan has held the “AV” attorney rating (the highest level of professional excellence) as determined by Martindale-Hubbell. For the past several years, Yan has made what he describes as “heroic” efforts to avoid returning to active law practice.
Mr. Ross has created, published, and presented Continuing Legal Education materials on dozens of specialized legal issues, and has taught at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels on such subjects as financial institutions, mergers and acquisitions, consumer law, privacy and confidentiality, and identity theft. As a founder of Services-4-Life, Yan has also been intimately involved with current day issues facing adult children with aging parents.
Prior to Yan’s law practice of over 30 years, he held several positions in the United States government. These posts included service as an officer in the United States Air Force, as General Counsel to the Republican Members of the Banking Committee of the United States House of Representatives, and as Alternate Executive Director of the Inter-American Development Bank, a Presidential appointment requiring confirmation by the United States Senate.
Yan’s global approach to, and successes in previous business initiatives, combined with his exemplary character and outstanding service record, makes him ideal to help Keeping Us Safe’s “Beyond Driving with Dignity” program deliver the highest level of professional services currently available to the families of older drivers.
Yan and his wife, artist Randi Wagner, currently reside on their horse ranch in Prescott, Arizona.
