Mrs. Cindy Anders
Keeping Us Safe is most fortunate to have Mrs. Cindy Anders serving as our national Director of Education.
From Missouri, Cindy has dedicated her career to working with drivers of all ages, but with a special emphasis on the older driver. Cindy is currently a valued member of the St. Louis consortium for Older Driver Education and Research, the State of Missouri Sub-committee for Elder Mobility and Safety and also serves as an expert panel member of the National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration.
Cindy obtained a Master of Arts degree in Gerontology from Lindenwood University and is currently pursuing a Licensed Professional Counseling Masters from the Missouri Baptist University. She is also a committee member of the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk and serves as a co-facilitator of a local Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group chapter.
Cindy has also served as an instructor for the Law Enforcement Training and Resource Center, and is a national board member of FRUA (Families for Russian and Ukrainian Adoptions).
Cindy currently resides in Bowling Green, Missouri, with her husband Martin, and she is always eager to talk about her five children and four grandchildren!
